Project highlights:

1. Being affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, it is one of the scientific research institutes that specialize in the research on preventive veterinary medicine in China. Its invention of "Bivalent inactivated vaccine against foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) of cattle, sheep and other ruminants, type O and A" won the 20th China Patent Silver Award.

2. Industry status: It has developed 34 vaccines used for FMD and other diseases, nearly 100 diagnostic reagents and 7 veterinary drug products.
